Forum Beach Cleaning list In: Cuidemos nuestro planeta On: Thursday, January 16 2020 comment Comment: 0 favorite Hit: 1640 Last week, while we were walking along the Forum beach, we came across a shore full of bottles, cans and different types of waste, which at the time we could not collect because we did not have the necessary means (mainly bags and gloves).Since then, we have been thinking about it and we have encouraged ourselves to organize a small event this weekend in order to collect, classify and take all the waste to be recycled. Many of you will wonder why now. Very easy, because we did not want to risk the sea dragging this waste into the open sea and we also wanted to find out about the best way to collect, classify and analyze the waste once it has been collected. For all those who want to join us this weekend, we would appreciate it if you let us know in advance so that we can organize ourselves. As this is the first time we plan an event like this, you should bring your gloves (gardening gloves are the best for this activity, if you don't have one of this type, plastic ones will do, but keep in mind that we are going to pick up trash). The activity will be divided into two actions: the first hour will be aimed at combing the beach and collecting the waste that we find on it and the second hour will consist of weighing, classifying, analyzing and taking it to be recycled or to the garbage (depending on the type of waste ), all those remains that we collect. We will carry out the waste audit based on the forms indicated below, which once completed, we will send to the break free from plastics website, so that they can analyze the results and take the necessary measures.   Greenpeace Waste Audit Form   Greenpeace Trademark Audit FormFinally, we would like to remind you that our main function with this activity is not to clean the beaches, but rather to raise awareness that the beach must be cared for and respected, since all the waste that we dispose of ends up in the sea.photos of the event Like This Twitter Tags: PlatjaFòrum forum beach surf monkey sustainable brand basque country surf Waste Greenpeace clean the beaches recycle collect garbage raise awareness Sort waste In Same Category Unidos por las Playas: Nuestra Jornada de Limpieza con surfriderbarcelona How to care for your Surf Monkey garment Apoya la huelga del cambio climatico Everything you need to know about caring for your beanies Re-Usable Packaging Related by Tags Re-Usable Packaging Surfing Championship in a Polluted Wave?
