Zurriola, between the sea and the city
San Sebastian is the capital of the province of Guipúzcoa, the city has 3 beaches, Ondarreta, La Concha and la Zurriola, the first tow ones are basically for swimming, meanwhile, at the beach of Zurriola, we can find plenty of surfers. Take into account that during the summer season it might be really crowded.
The Beach is divided into two parts, the left part ( Muro de Sagues ), with the surfers with more experience and the right part ( the breakwater by the river ), were the novels and the surf schools go.
Is a Sand beach and depending on the sea conditions its available for all the levels. Pay attention to the currencies, won't´ drag us to close to the rocks.
Level: Basic- Medium
It can be accessed from the beach itself, there is parking in the same area, but prices are high and street parking is an OTA area.
Services: Being a city beach has thousands of services of showers, services, surf schools, bars, restaurants, etc. on the same walk. You can find Surf Monkey products at the Indie Basque Surfing store, located on the same promenade of Zurriola 1 - Edif 7.
